2nd Annual ASEBP Conference

Anyone interested in Philly Cheese steaks and Criminal Justice?

If so, please consider coming to the conference at Temple University May 21st-22nd. A couple of years ago I was privileged to be part of a brilliant team that formed the American Society of Evidence-Based Policing. Last year, we held our first conference in Phoenix, AZ, and it was overwhelmingly successful!

This year, we are really excited to have panel members from the United States, Canada, Mexico, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom to discuss topics such as race and bias, predictive policing, body-worn cameras, officer wellness, violence reduction, crime analysis, and officer-led research initiatives. I will be speaking on a panel addressing officer wellness (particularly on the subject of Emotional Intelligence).

This will be a great opportunity for you to hear and learn from prominent leaders like Philadelphia’s own Police Commissioner Richard Ross and distinguished criminologist and authors like David Kennedy and Jerry Ratcliffe.

Hopefully, I’ll see you in Philly!
